On October 19th 2025, between 06:49 UTC and 22:01 UTC, AWS experienced a widespread outage, which also impacted multiple AWS services. This caused many services, including 7fivefive's support system, to become unavailable for an extended period. Most Lens customers were unaffected by the outage; however, customers with a presence in the AWS region us-east-1 would have experienced difficulties launching EC2 instances as AWS throttled requests as it attempted to recover core services.
